I've had ear/tmj problems for as long as I can remember. I've been to an ENT specialist before but they said all looked fine, but then why are my ears CONSTANTLY ringing high pitched sounds that drive me nuts...(the usually ring 2-3 times a day) and I'm always having tons of ear aches, and intense pressure in my ears, head and jaw. Sometimes the pressure gets so bad it feels like my head is going to burst. It's very frustrating. Lately I keep getting this itchy feeling in the inside of my throat, towards the left side. The only way to relieve it is to scratch my neck really hard with a hair brush to the point where I get a rash from scratching so much.. or to cough to the side really hard. I've been told that this is all from my TMJ problems and that my ears are fine and last April I had tmj surgery which did not help and am due for more surgery soon. My doctor never takes me seriously everytime I mention it and I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on what I can do to stop the ringing and the itchy feeling in my throat without having to scar my neck from scratching so much...
