so I take me some ambien & lay down... can't sleep for some reason... hmmm, scattered, covered & chunked sounds good... cruisin down cansler street on the way back home (& I don't even remember my waffle house trip) goin 35 mph... & the next thing I remember was opening my eyes to a guard rail & a street sign staring me in the face & my air bag knocked my head backwards. I struggled to get out of the car & stumbled around to the front & wondered what had happened to the hood of my car?? I freaked out, called a friend down the road, remember running, & the next thing I know I'm waking up at 10:30ish the next morning. what had I done? long story short: called police station & was instructed to come in at 6:30 when the officer who wrote up my accident report would be there... apparently after I fell asleep at the wheel, I accelerated to at least 50 mph... & 2000 ft of guard rail later (& some poor man's front yard), I walked away with nothing but a few scratches & bruises, a horrible, throbbing cornea abrasion (complete with puffy, bloodshot eye & the vision of a white Christmas in june), & a citation/court date 4 leaving the scene of an accident. I was like the misdemeanor celebrity of the police station... they were all pointing & saying, "that's her", with a shocked tone in their voices & amazed look on their faces. I didn't realize how lucky I was until I saw my car the next day. I became weak, couldn't breathe, & the tears wouldn't stop rolling. I still can't figure out how I walked away from that vehicle... I had ppl out looking for my body & finding more & more pieces of my car down in the creek. I'm 1 lucky girl & apparently I had an angel in that car with me... I'm still here for a reason, now I just gotta figure out what reason that is... wow, even my little short version ended up a little long... my phone will only allow so many characters before I'm cut off, so...
