So what makes a post?

Some write long things and then some seems not to know what to write(Crew raises hand saying thats us ) then some say "I don't know what to say" then some gives a hug,

so I guess what I am asking is what makes a Post and how short can it be. That way I could get lots of posts but of course I hardly ever say or write anything short. I am a long winded person....LOL
