Although I'm not experienced and absolutely no expert, might it be possible to channel the energy into something else? When I feel anxious, I find that cleaning helps..or moving some furniture around...something the requires physical labor, not heavy of course, but the need to keep moving.
Even something small like sewing something that needs to be sewn, cleaning out a junk drawer...something that changes the focus. These little types of tasks might alleviate some of the anxiety. Just a thought...
