I feel that content is what constitutes a post. Whether the poster is conveying information or sympathy or just a friendly greeting; they are sharing that with the community and thus it constitutes a valid and important post. It's not so much about how long it is (I take forever to say anything but that doesn't mean my post has more content than someone who can sum up their thoughts better); it's about what's being conveyed and the feelings and ideas behind the post.
