I was diagnosed as ADHD when I was 7 years old. I have been on medication for it since then. As an adult I was diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder. Back October my pdoc went out of practice and I tried to make it without my bipolar meds and my ADHD meds. That did not work out that well since I ended up in the hospital in February for 5 days!
But here's the problem: my new pdoc is not treating me for my ADHD and says it is uncontrolled bipolar that is causing my symptoms. I trust my pdoc because I worked with him professionally for 7 years. But I honestly think he is wrong on this. How do I convince him otherwise? Any ideas?
