I hate needing to cry but not being able to. It's such a release.
Sometimes it helps me to try and write out whatever I'm feeling (or repressing). Sometimes it helps me get more aware of what I'm feeling and allows release.
When I felt like that, I couldn't get myself to sleep. So the best thing is to try to make yourself tired hours in advance with exercise in the morning. I'm sorry the sleep meds don't help you.
