Depression takes me over and I too don't feel good about my life. I have a lot to be thankful for, but have difficulty appreciating everything I have. Instead I just seem to exist, go through the motions of life, not really happy or feeling anyway actually. I try to use the techniques I have learned to help me feel better, sometimes they work sometimes not.
Positive self talk seems to help if I can get myself to do it. I used it more today than in the past couple weeks, and I do feel somewhat better.
