TPND, as far as I know there isn't an age limit for endometriosis ... a girl I know (she's 18?) was just diagnosed with it after suffering for months without knowing what it was.
Another woman (I think I know more women than that, but just for simplicity's sake) had reallllllly bad ovarian cysts that wouldn't go away naturally, so she was put on birth control and they went away that way.
Me? I'm likely one of those who has PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) because I go... well, I go crazy. In so many ways. I was on a birth control pill (progesterone only, not an estrogen & progesterone pill) but it kinda made me more crazy. SO I stopped that and now I take prescription strength Naproxen (it's a muscle relaxant) but you can find it without a prescription at your drug store, it's just a lower dosage. Take lots and lots of Midol. It can work, but I always also take it with more Naproxen.
