Normal for everyone is dependent on what one views as normal. Hence my normal self is being bipolar, because it's not something that will just be cured in one day. It becomes part of your life, since unless you're really good at it, you have to remind yourself how to cope with life every day and how certain types of coping are not good for us.
I've been really working on coping with life, for the past 6 months, since when I was in the hospital they taught me better ways to cope with things. I still have my days when I get frustrated, but at least that one day doesn't turn into a week, which then would turn into a month....so it is getting better. Keep track of your progress, b/c as minute as it may seem, you are accomplishing something.
Trust me, if there was a quick fix that would make me not Bipolar any more, I would be the 1st test subject.
