Some information for the future: Get a good children's thermometer so you can monitor your childs temperature. Guessing & hand on the forhead isn't as accurate. Also, a cool bath to lower the temp along with the tylenol can help, & the summer weather adds to the temp when they are already running one, so it's best to keep children in a cool place when running a temp. But in reality, a childs temp can spike even when doing all these things & cause a febrile seizure....no guarantees. All will be fine in the future I am sure.

thanks so much for the website and the advise! I let the daycare know to check his temp before taking him outside and I will do the same at home. Thanks for the assurance too!
