I went because I have been feeling so fatigued. And my throat hurt--not to swallow like a sore throat from a cold or flu, but it hurts to talk and I'm having hoarseness. I'm going to see an ENT who will run a scope to look at my vocal chords, but my IM doc expects him to say I have effects of acid reflux. I have been treated for it before, but I didn't think I had it. I don't have heartburn or other common symptoms assoicated with acid reflux. My IM doc tells me there are symptoms a person might not consider, and he had one patient who's only symptom was a cough. So, that could explain my abdominal pain and I may begin taking acid reducers and that's a quick fix, so yea.

A polysomnography for the fatigue. I have a CPAP and used it a few weeks to see if it would help, but it is 15+ years old, so updating the sleep study might lead to adjustments to my machine or mask so it will be more helpful.
I will use it, as I did for years. But I am going to get this weight down so I can ditch it again! lol. When I lose weight a few years ago from the pancreatitis, I didn't need the CPAP any more, and I was glad to let it reside in my closet.

I am also hypothyroid and feel as if I'm not taking my meds, but I am. So, maybe part of the fatigue is the Hashimotos. I am having labs done Friday.

Medical expenses I don't need, but I am looking forward to feeling better!
