This dream mixed a few common elements that occur in my dreams.
First, it was a drug dream. A dream in which I was either offered or taking drugs and within the dream got the effect.
Second, it was a fighting dream.
It was a captivity dream. By two parties. For once, one of those parties was not an official entity like jail or a hospital. After a while, I felt a captive of the dream itself.
There was also the element of school.
I was living in a dormitory similar to the one I had stayed in in RL when I went to school. I was to meet a RL friend and I did with him and someone else. We smoked a joint in public at the university I went to and the next thing I know I was held captive by what appeared to be police. They decided to cut me loose and said they would be watching. That they would be watching seems significant.
The dream felt like a test and it seemed to be showing me myself and my tendencies.
Near the beginning of the dream, I was in a mall on the lowest level, kind of representing the layered, multiple-leveled world I live in. In this mall was a karate school and I passed behind someone in a gi with a purple belt which was the rank I had irl. Maybe this was me, but it felt like me years ago and not now, and the rank had nothing to do with karate.
Next was a lot of fighting with people. Strangers, if you've ever seen the movie.
Then I was captive once again but this time I was enclosed in a duffel bag, laying down. I could hear voices and they were ominously carrying on about how they were going to kill me. I begged to get out and started to struggle. At this point I wanted to wake up but felt held down, forced to see more.
I was let out and was given an odd, sharp circular object that could be gripped in a way and made a weapon. There was a person whose face was demonic that I kept slashing over and over and he was unaffected by my attacks.
Finally, I woke up. The whole thing felt very real.
