I too am so glad that you went to hospital and have been proactive about this step in recovery. I have had med changes that I had to manage at home all alone and I have also had med changes in hospital as recently as November. While a psych hospitals or psych wards can be a challenging and difficult as there are many sick people there and the psych nurse quality can vary, I have still found it the best place to be during a med change. At least you get given your meds at the same times during the day and you don't have to worry about it, you get your meals prepared so you don't have to worry about it and the psych nurses are there to look after you. Good on you. I hope you continue to progress.
