Sorry, I have no idea what you can do, except let the prescribing doc know this. I had that happen when I went off of Zoloft, scared me, I thought I'd have that sensation for life, but in a few months it went away, it was very scarey. Wellbutrin, did that too, when I tried that for a short time for depression, that sensation didn't last as long, I guess cause I didn't stay on it long enough.
Celexa, did a different thing, like quick arm jerks or knee tremor, it all went away.
The only med I take now for the bipolar/depression is Lamictal,I have been on it for about 3 yrs now., no problem. My dosage is 100mg in am and 100mg in pm. Whenn we went up 25mg more, it made me have an agitated feeling so 200mg per day has been the best so far.
When, I tried only 150mg per day, I still seemed okay, when we tried dropping to just 100mg per day, I gradually started going down.
Whew! aorry I got so chatty, and rambled on about my own experiences. But please know I feel for you, those "brain zaps" are absolutely frightening. I hope I never get them again.
Please take care now,
DE
