try controling your breathing by inhaling through your nose as you count to four and exhale while again counting to four...once you are able to do it without thinking try walking and counting 4 steps while inhaling through the nose and exhaling for 4 steps...once you can do this it will be easier to focus while meditating...try this trick also...mark a dot on a peice of paper and hang it up as far away as you can while still being able to see the dot...stare at this dot and do your breathing excercises while focusing on that single dot...don't think about anything but that dot...clear your mind and focus...your mind should be blank except for that dot...once you can stare at the dot for hours you will be ready to meditate...you will be inside yourself and all around...I hope this helps even a little...
