I was in England when I was taking the venlafaxine and sertraline, I had a psych who was willing to try 'odd' combinations. GPs don't like making those sorts of decisions so if you don't have a psych it might be worth asking your GP to refer you just for a med review - if you do have a psych it might be worth asking if you can move your appt forward so you can discuss it with him / her.
