If his behavior is not good, you need to deal with that and talk to him about it for your own sake. obviously you're seeing something that concerns you. I wouldn't *****-foot around about it, if it affects you and your happiness and safety; just tell him, the X (specific) behavior(s) has to change/go and/or if he would like help perhaps you can suggest where he can get it.
