Hi Goldgirl. When it comes to finances and your fear of spending and using credit cards...I say, "Hooray For You!". You're one step further away from trouble with debt (which, that combined with overspending, is the downfall of our current global economy). I suggest having some short term and long term financial goals, eg, buying a new car in the next year or so or deciding at what age you'd like to retire and travel the world. Both of these examples require money. Once you know how much money you need to save and how much you need to save per month in order to achieve these goals, plus knowing your monthly budget, then you can allot some excess cash for yourself to spend on whatever you want. Best to start with some goals and a budget. Plus, using a credit card is fine for building your credit score, but not good if you can't pay your bill in full each month. Just some thoughts.
