I do understand that some folks are upset with the decision to make me an admin because they don't feel like they know me well enough, or that I haven't proved myself in the forums as a member. Fair enough. But the decision has been made, and I'm just asking everyone to give me a chance. I realize you'd prefer to get to know and trust me before I was made an admin, but are you willing to at least give it a shot now? (Also, I really do "get" that this post isn't about me. It's about the decision. I decided to post this anyway because it seemed like the right place and time to do so.)
