I'm looking at the admin decision as just bringing in a new member to the team. Companies don't always hire from within, often they bring in a new perspective. Just because Ben hasn't been here for 10,000 posts doesn't mean he's incapable of doing a bang up job. Maybe, just maybe, he'll be better at it because he doesn't have his favorites and not-so-favorites picked out and he'll be a bit more impartial.
