I was wondering if anyone else had an obsession with bugs? I'm normally okay during the day when the sun is out and there is light. I can handle bugs for the most part. I can see them and avoid them. I have even picked up a caterpillar or two before. But, when the sun goes down and the lights are out, it's a whole different story. Part of my nightly ritual, along with checking all the doors and windows in the house to make sure they are locked multiple times a night, I also have to check behind the shower curtain multiple times a night to make sure no bugs are hiding in the tub. Also, I keep a drink at the bedside when I am sleeping in case I get thirsty in the night. I have to have a cover over it to keep bugs out. When I take my shoes off at night, I place them on a chair or table to keep any bugs from crawling into them and in the morning before I put them on, I check the insides to make sure no bugs have snuck in. I also sleep with the covers tucked under me rather than hanging down to prevent anything from crawling into bed with me. I have done these things for years now. I guess I first started this bug obsession as a senior in high school. I have no idea why. I wasn't bitten by a bug, didn't see a creepy bug movie or anything. I just got obsessed with bugs. And, I can't seem to figure out how to stop the madness. Any ideas???
