I am so sorry to hear about your friend. What a talented person she was...What a beautiful horse she painted. How sad when someone feels the need to end their life that way.

It's a loss that is felt no matter how close we are to the person. My daughter & I went through that just a few months ago with a boy she met while on vacation one summer when she was in high school. It's a shock to hear when someone ends up at that point with their life.
