Doc John I think you are doing a great job. On line and in real world time.

At first having someone who's name I did not recognise right away like I do Ozzie and Kimmydawn scared me because I am not a very trusting person and who would be with the abuse background that I have. but then I read the posts that he has posted and now I am curious of what next from him. He's not barrelling in here making massive changes upon changes and not considering all of us here. He's just being himself just like he was before he was mod and then admin. We accepted him no questions asked as a member. we accepted him as a mod which shows in the welcome to mod threads. And I for one accept him as admin.

Just a thought here but is it possible that some of the problem here is that he got the job because Ozzie left the position. Its clear to all the impact that Ozzie has here. And maybe when Ozzie came back some were entertaining thoughts of her taking the position back and now that the position is filled theres no hope of that.

Doc John picked Ozzie and obviously he made the right choice given the impact she has here. Did anyone here question his motives and choice when he chose Ozzie. Not by anything I can find and I have read all the posts on every messageboard here. Well Doc John has chosen JustBen I for one am going to give JustBen a chance just like I did Ozzie and everyone else here.

by the way since we are online not in real world time we are not going to know each and every person here. In fact it is very easy for a person to join an online group and not reveal who they truely are. A non professional (not shrink, police and so on) woman named Posey does this every day to ensure on line support groups and websites are safe and appropiate for various aged children. She does help the police catch pedophiles even though she is not a professional. No matter how many posts a person does there is no guarentee people here are who they say they are. So the way I see it it doesn't matter how many posts JustBen has done here or how long he has been here. To me what matters here is the person who started this website Doc John has the materials available to him that we dont for doing thorough checks of the person he chooses as administrator.

He also from starting and keeping this site up and running knows what technical stuff it takes from having computer knowledge so that if someone here has a computer problem the admin can help or find the appropiate help, having psych background so that any posts that contain psych information is the true information that is not stearing people wrong, to possible fundraising possibilities since no members are being asked to pay to be here or donate money to offset the bills of paying for the domain site, computer programs needed in order to have message boards, chat .. for each section offered here there is a cost.. not to mention keeping track of each member registered or not so that the site conforms to the sites purpose and any laws governing the domain. From researching how to start a website of my own I know there is so much more involved with administrative duties than just watching the message boards. In my eyes anyone that Doc John feels is qualified and capable of doing the job has my vote of confidence. Welcome aboard JustBen.
