I really thought the neurologist would tell me that there is nothing wrong with my son, but when we walked out of the appointment today we left with three conditions, two of which are definite and not dangerous in themselves, but could have an underlying cause, and one condition that is very frightening, althought I don't know what it is, really. He needs to have a MRI to rule it out and that will be scheduled soon. The condition is called Neurofibromatosis, and I guess can cause tumors anywhere in the body along the nerves. They are usually benign, but can grow to be large or grow enough to cause nerve damage.

I don't know if I can take this on right now.
