I am very close to one of my co-workers and have met his partner a couple of times. Well, his partner had hernia surgery about 2 months ago. He kept losing tons of weight, looked really bad and was in pain.
After a couple of weeks of my co-worker hounding him to go in to get checked out, he finally did.
They found out he had cancer. They built his system up as best they could so they could do the chemo. Once they did the chemo he got really sick. He didn't eat for a week. After the chemo, he got blood on the brain. He had two tubes sticking out of his head for the past 3-4 days or so. Well, he was skin and bones. My co-worker just knew he wouldn't make it through the weekend and I had a dream that he wouldn't make it, either.
I made him a card on Friday....he didn't even get to read it.
He passed just a couple of hours ago. My co-worker just called me.
It is so sad. He was 43 years old. He was really funny and I am going to miss him.
