Sleep isn't my best friend either. I wish I knew what to tell you. Listening to soothing music helps. If you sleep alone, this may be the solution. I have a husband and right now I can't stand the earphones on my ears at night because of the heat and humidity. Turning all lights out and turning clocks around where you can't see them helps. Make sure your room is a comfortabe temperature for you. My husband told me that sleeping with me was like sleeping with a restless cougar. I usually don't fall asleep until around 6 am even with all the techniques I suggested but they do help to some degree. If I could listen to the music without the earphones, I could relax. That is what I did growing up. I couldn't sleep without music.
I, also, take meds at night that are suppose to make me sleepy. I wish. Just letting you know that you aren't alone.
