I'm sorry. This is a real bummer for you.
It sounds like your boss is trying to give you a chance but he's right in saying that you need to contact him to let him know what's going on.
Not that that helps you any but I have to defend his position because he's got a business to run and things to take of. Could you E-mail him to keep him updated on everything that's going on?
It sounds to me that program is really messing things up for you. That's not your fault. Is there possibly another program option for you to try? This present one isn't too dependable and seems to be causing you more anxiety and stress then help.
