When I was a kid, many people used to use tinsil on their Xmas trees. For those who don't know or remember, tinsil is a thin strip of foil and you drape it on your tree. The cat thought it was grass and ate some - I think this is why they stopped producing this. Even though we deliberately put it up higher, she still managed to get some.

A few days later, she came out of her kitty litter and started running like crazy. Upon closer inspection, I see a piece of poop, trailing on the end of tinsil. Her strategy was - trying to run away from it lol. After running for several minutes, it was still there. I saw no other choice but to pull it with a napkin - when I pulled there was still more to come and the cat let out a big meow - not amused at all.
