Sanityseeker (and anyone else wanting to keep track of specific threads, including ones you've replied to): the feature you want is called
Subscriptions. There's a lot more in the
FAQ about it. I don't have time to point you to the relevant sections and features right now but if you can't figure it out pretty easily by a combination of reading and experimenting, let me know and I'll spell out in more detail how the feature works.
