Hello avoice,
This is not something that would make anyone happy, especially when you have been struggling so much. It is bad that they have seen you struggling and haven't offered any help whatsoever.
Even though they are putting whatever money they have saved to an apartment or house they could have spared a little for you each week even $50 would have helped.
Is he working? or is your daughter the one saving the money?
