Sometimes it's possible for them to actually sign up & be a part of that insurance coverage even though they aren't at the moment. I had that happen several times with different Dr's that I was seeing. They just had to sign up with the insurance & they would end up being accepted by them. Best thing to do is call the office & explain the situation. If she is working alone, then I would call her up & talk to her about the situation. Give her the new insurance information.......or you could talk to the new insurance provider & ask them what you need to do to get your counselor covered by them.

It's really usually a simple procedure.
