I, too, have nothing in the way of experience to offer in this area except best wishes for a quick resolution to your shoulder pain. I would explore all options before surgery, although surgery could be just the solution. My husband had rotor cuff surgery by an ortho surgeon on his shoulder over 4 years ago with no recurrence. It was all done out patient so he was home the same afternoon. Thinking of you and hoping for the very best outcome.
