I am at 100mg of Topamax now for about a full month and have noticed falling off to sleep easier except having extremely vivid nightmares, has anyone experienced this while using Topamax? Years ago when I was put on Prozac I had this happen too and it sort of went away, do these meds. effect the brain chemistry in such a way that it would "mess" up dreams? Last night's nightmare was of seeing a horrible car accident with writhing bodies at a hwy intersection where I use to live it was so horrible and real and in the dream I kept trying to drive my car away from it but the car kept getting closer to it forcing me to see and hear the writhing and screaming of the victims as the emergency workers were helping them, so vivid I jumped up out of my sleep, so much for a "good" nite's sleep. Let me know if you've had this experience with the Topamax, besides poor spelling, ha!ha!
