I've tried to have sex with my boyfriend of eight months five times now, but it's practically impossible - three times I had to get him to stop because it hurt too much and the other two it still really hurt. Everything else we do together works fine and I really enjoy it, so I went to the doctor and he said it sounded like I have vaginismus. If anyone else has this and would like to talk about it I'd be very grateful, because I'm worried that now I almost expect pain from sex it's just going to make things worse, and it's so frustrating! My boyfriend keeps saying there's no rush but I know he likes it, and I really want to enjoy it as well.
