I read article recently which talked about evolution "errors" in humans... well, basically, the progress was too fast and our genetics layout did not have the time to get accustomed to that... hence the "civilization illnesses".
I also read (a long time ago), that today read and hear the same amount of information through one day as our ancestors did in many years... Surely, this is very demanding to our brains... our living environment is changing very fast and we have to adapt... while remembering our credit card PIN codes and passwords and phone numbers may see as insignificant... it still takes a large proportion of our memory, I think... and we live in very very fast pace. And somehow we are pressured to conform the norms, live fast and be "productive"... We are overwhelmed by the information we recieve on the daily basic... there is not much time to slow down. No wonder our brains sometimes show the 404 error.
I don't want to expand too much on life span, because that might be too triggering to some... but the longer lifespan may not always be such a great thing (...)
I admit, I am a total city girl though... I HATE the countryside (I can tolerate is as a destination during vacation, given than in day I will be in a "civilization" again. when you take away my Internet, I feel like missing a hand... well, both arms, both legs and significant part of brain

. But that might be just a kind of addiction and disconnection from my real nature.
