We do have male alters but most of the time they are the protectors. We did have some issues when we were re-intergrating but we made it clear that the body is female and that the majority ruled on the fact that we want to have sex with a male only. The few times that we did have sex with a female it was because the person had pushed our panic buttons.
In the past when we had first gotten serverly abuse some parts did have solo time with their partners but when we got co-con again it was very scary for the younger parts to share that information so to keep internail peace all accepted the fact that the host was female and that we are more comfortable with male/female only sex.
it takes time but when those within are working together the greater good for all does get easer to fallow through.
