Dilaudid.. hands down. It's generic is hydromorphinone. It's a derrivative opiate with almost none of the difficult side effects and risks of morphine. It's considered one of the safest pain meds out there. You'd have to take some incredible amount (like 42 mg) to get anywhere near toxic on it. The other opiates have high risk of accidental overdose.

i do like tramadol though... but my insurance won't cover it.

i'm a big fan of finding whatever alternatives to pain meds i can, so i have acupuncture and ultrasound treatments twice a week. i need to get massage therapy once a week but can't right now

a lot can be done with visualization, etc as well.
