I logged off to try & get the weather channel up on my computer to track where this storm is going.....so slow, I still don't have the weather information up, but in just those few minutes, the lightening stopped being overhead. It didn't blow over the house to the other side, it just sort of stopped being around us (thank heaven).

Lucky it didn't hit the water tower that transmits my internet either as it's still up (or I wouldn't be able to be on here).

I hate nights like this. I went to bed early (or as early as midnight really is which is early for me) specifically to get some sleep because I was so exhausted......then 2:30 hit......going to be a bad day tomorrow when I have a bad night.

It's been so hot I haven't been functional at all around the house. Can't seem to get anything done & then anxiety hits because I have so much to do.

Only thing I got done today was to get all the paperwork filled out for Small Claims court so I can take it in on Monday & get it filed against the guy who took my money to do fencing on my farm & did absolutely nothing...then said he would pay me back my money the beginning of the year & I haven't seen a cent of it yet.

Seems like I am battling people, weather, & my own mental illness that rears it's head right when I need to be the most functional. Stress causes me to not be functional for days at a time which doesn't help my to do list.

I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my garage door opener on Thursday night. My 92 year old friend who has always done everything on her own farm came over to look & put our minds together to see if we could figure it out......no luck with it being anything obvious. I was so stressed not figuring that out that I had a horrible night the last night.......so many bad nights in a row is really taking it's toll.

The heat & the humidity is really bad for the durigesic patches I use for my migraine pain. They changed the way they make them this year & the adhesive doesn't stick well when the body gets hot & sweaty......so when I was taking my shower last night, the patch ended up almost falling off. Had to tape it back on to make it until tonight. Not sure how much of the med was actually left on the patch after that cause I was struggling with the twinges of a migraine all day today.....those patches always last for 72 hours before having to be changed but the heat really is making a difference in this new design.

Not sure where the storm went, but seems to have gone south west instead of east......very strange storm.....still cant get my desktop weather channel up with the information. Looks like the program might have gotten corrupted & may have to uninstall & reinstall it to get it working again......grrrr.....always something that doesn't work!!!!
