Another huge thunder storm is heading our way right now with a lot of ground lightening involved. I never could get the desktop weather to load correctly on my computer, but I ended up just bookmarking the parts that I want......hourly & weather map to see where the clouds are & where they are going......right for us...I hear the thunder booming continuously right now about 20 miles away.
Neighbors black angus cows are out in the field across from my farm. The millionaire that owned that farm died of cancer this last winter. He owned over 8000 acres. Think it all went to his daughters who are selling off some of the farm land. Hopefully they won't do much with the area across from my farm as it has the feed lot & the silo's. Don't think they would consider selling that off for subdivisions way out here. One never knows, but I really love living out in the country with no one around me..
I was going to do some painting on my front porch. Guess it's a good thing I did't start doing it now cause I'm painting the stuff that's on the outside that gets all the rain on it.....that wouldn't have been a good thing. Always something that gets in my way of getting things done. I thought that I could get all the primer painting done today.....not going to happen now.
Oh well, I have all the paint thinner to clean my brushes now (had to go get that this afternoon). It was a rather nice day today...not too hot with the storms, but tomorrow is going to be around 90 again....another Non-functional day.
Well, another thankful storm......all the large amount of lightening went west of us....not even getting any sprinkle of rain.
Interesting, the first summer I was here, all the storms came in from the south west.....this year, we are getting them from the north. Weather patterns are very interesting. I was always fascinated about the weather, but it was always too unpredictable for me to really focus on. Their predictions are seldom correct even with all the complicated weather equipment they have. I'm the kind that watches & tracts, but not one to predict anything.
