My Mom would never say a thing like that. She likes to dish dirt.
It sounds like your Mom may be suffering from a tad bit of self-righteousness? I don't know.
Try to forgive her for not being the "perfect" mother. I know, it's hard, especially when she's REALLY getting on your nerves.
But, you really love your Mom and she loves you. It's all getting mistranslated, though.
Reading some of the posts on here about people's moms' dying and losing people they love through death has made me step back and try to accept my mother's faults.
We can be so hard on our Moms. They're just people, too, ya' know?
I'm not sticking up for your Mom's actions-I just think we have to be "the adults" sometimes when it comes to our mothers. It's hard to swallow that because she's supposed to be the nuturer.
Deep down inside they really, truely believe they're doing the best thing for you. They really don't know any better. We can only try not to make the same mistakes in our lives.
I hope you find the wisdom to understand your mother's actions and forgive her for not understanding you in return.
I pray for that for me and my Mom. She's got lots of faults too.
