wants to talk about it and help you understand. Once I tried to discuss with my T, I said something like.... I know this is not about you, please help me to understand what this says about me. He chose not to discuss which led to even more feelings of embarrassment and shame by me. The good news is I always respected my own boundaries and his.
It is through this an open and candid discussion with your T,you may find some of your answers.
For me, I don't think it was a form of manipulation or control, the whole love/hate flip flop. History played a large part....I thought..." I am falling in
with this man..." There are many ways to show someone you love them, it doesn't always have to be sexualized.
