Hi BBT7, I'm very sorry for your insurance situation. I know it's really hard having to go through the trouble of getting a new counselor, starting all over again, and learning to trust a new person in your life. I might actually have to do exactly that in about a month.
I'm covered under my dad's insurance and he's looking to switch to a different plan to save money (which he happens to be looking at Tufts as well). I talked to my T about this and she says our sessions won't be covered under Tufts. So either I have to convince my family to go for insurance that my T associates with or I'll definitely have to switch because I can't afford like $100 every one or two weeks. I just started with her and have had 4 sessions.
In addition, I'm still getting over my last T who I had to leave circumstantially too. She worked for my college and it was the last semester of her internship so she'll be gone and I won't see her again. After developing so much trust in her, I've had a hard time moving on and still miss her a lot.
So, yes, I think I'm right there with ya. I saw that you had a thread on how to choose a new therapist - I may have to refer to it.
Good luck!
+Jeff
