You know, LabLover23, the whole project of a career may be a lot easier than you think. My parents were of the Great Depression generation. They didn't "choose" their career. You couldn't, back then. You took whatever job was available, and you followed that until another one came along, and before you knew it, you were established in a particular career that may or may not have been something you'd thought about before.

So though you may have many talents and interests, in today's job market the real issue is, okay, what kind of job can I get? Very few young people today have a real "choice" of their career. They just have to get out there and find a job. And keep looking. And maybe there will be a switch somewhere along the line. In a direction you may or may not have anticipated. Don't let a bad job market keep you from getting established. If you do, you may be living with your parents until you're fifty years old. Not a good idea.

Take care!
