Melinda, My father committed suicide when I was 8. My Mom never trusted a man enough to ever have another relationship.

I have spent my life looking for someone that could fill that hole in my heart...I will be 47 years old next month and have just realized that no one can do that.

I have been in relationships, but always expected to be abandoned...so...I left before that could happen.

You are still young and I hope you will not waste your life looking for someone to fill the hole in your heart. Only you can do that.
