Well... *sigh* we just got home. All I really have the strength to say is now we feel terribly guilty. She's been terrible to us and we are the ones who walk away feeling guilty, isn't that how it goes?

Jane explained the basics to her. We know it's alot to take in. I tried to be gentel to her on the way home and she blew up at me. I really don't blame her. I suppose we have to continue to treat her gently about this; she's been through alot latley and she's not exactly young.

I was afraid we'd come home terribly angry. Now all we wish to do is weep.
