When I bought the ecig back in Dec. '09, I wasn't sure it could be used as a quit tool, or would just become a replacement for tobacco/another addiction. Now, almost 8 months later, I really don't even think about smoking, or the ecig. I believe, from this exp, that tobacco companies put an extra
something in the cigarettes to keep smokers addicted. I had not really expected to have success quitting, after being a 35 year smoker, from having tried everything over the counter, prescription, to cold turkey and failing at all of them. I just bought the ecig out of resignation that I could never quit, so I might as well try something less toxic.
Anyway, this is just an update, since I had posted here sev months ago about using the ecig. At that time, I was just relieved to not be using tobacco. The ecig still gave a hit of nicotine, but I found that I could let it go after a while, unlike ever being able to do with tobacco.
