it is of little to no comfort to know that sometimes animals enter our lives for a much shorter period than we would have liked but that was their path.

your sweet doggie received lots of love and good care in the short time spent with your family. we believe animals choose us when the shelter is involved. sure we go in thinking we're making the choice but over the years and many animals later we've seen that there is a two way connection between human and animal. your sweet boy saw your love and knew he needed to be with you.

he will pass on knowing he was loved.

life isn't fair especially when our most innocent ones are taken too soon.

take time to grieve this one.

your heart is so full of compassion, kindness and love for animals that we're sure when the time is right you'll be ready to welcome another one in.

until then our heart goes out to you for this painfully sad time. releasing our animals from pain when there isn't any treatment available is the most humane thing a person can do.
