I have a frozen shoulder and can empathise with the pain. I was fine till I got knocked out with drugs following burnout from work. Physios here in the UK can't do anything.

I have aromatherapy and back massage every week. My back muscles are very rigid and stuck now.
Before I would consider surgery I want to try everything else possible.
I am going for acupuncture next.
Crystal healing and shaman healing
Sounds off the wall but An old remedy is to iron a cabbage leaf (so that it is bruised) and use as a poultice, it does in fact ease the pain!

This may sound crazy but I went on a horse this week and I loved it....helped me greatly. Probably because I rode a lot as a child...I needed to feel less disabled..

Maybe doing something you used to do and enjoy will distract the pain... It does for me?

Take care
Lotsa love
