We maybe making a mistake by letting others read this. Then again it probably doesn't matter.We just thought this was the best way to explain our being weird to others.

Twas not a moment of clarity
Nor was there any luck,
We walked out tall and proud
And that's when I woke up.

We live inside a world
Much different than it was before,
Where once a place of kindness lived
I feel like such a *****.

I hate the world for what's become
A place of hate and personal fame
For all this time I lived false hopes
And only people are to blame.

We lie so much inside ourself
I really did go blind
What hurts so much is what I've lived,
So I chose to live outside of time.

Once upon a lifetime,
I was just a lad,
Till I asked for help
And my gray turned to morbid sad.

The lights turned dark inside my world
And I let the voices win,
I never would survive
If I hadn't shared the pain within.

They say there is no pergatory,
Yet here I stand as living proof,
For those that always preach of hope
Your words are what I am clinging to.

I'll never lose the pain
That's rooted in my soul
For what becomes when innocence dies
Is better left unknown.

I'll take my leave, for I don't belong,
My world's not here and now,
But those I leave instead me
Are much better than I could ever be.

As this was being written, the shrunken heads, rage, little man, princess, and I (spirit) were locked inside a dark place. We were refused our voices and everything was like it didn't exist. It was very sobering and also scary, but what is written rings true. Not sure how to understand it fully yet, still trying to work through it. Anyway, we haven't been feeling "normal" and we're all pretty much in agreement that it shows to some extent. So, if we're around and maybe acting odd, please forgive us.
